Local company to BK web data transfer

Now you can store your company data on the Bkweb server, which will provide you an instant syncing option.

For this firstly you have to create a new company file. (The BKWeb option is available for creating a new company and disabled for running companies).

How to create a company on BKweb?
Open Bookkeeper> Create New company (Make sure you are using an updated version of Bookkeeper v7.4.2 or above)

After creating a New company,  you will get an option of Book Keeper Web option in yellow color on the top left side which means your company is on BKWeb now.

You will not be able to transfer your data from the old company to BKWeb company from your side and then the same will be done from our side only. Complete data transfer is not possible right now.

However, if you wish us to import your accounts/items with balances to BK Web, it will be chargeable (One-time). You will get the details of the charges by mail. There will be an extra benefit like the user will get 1 month extra (Lifetime or Yearly) or 1 additional device in his yearly subscription.

[Important Points] Please note the following :
1. As of now we cannot migrate data with batch-expiry or warehouse details in Inventory.
2. Employee details cannot be added to Bk Web company due to the non-availability of the Payroll feature in Bk Web.
3. Balances of the following accounts need to be updated manually :
"Purchase"
"Sales"
"Cash"
"Bank"
"Cartage"
"Discount On Sale"
"Discount On Purchase"
"Sales Return"
"Purchases Return"
"Discount received"
"Profit & Loss A/c"
"Round Off"
and all tax accounts
4. There are limitations in features available in Bk Web:
- can't upload any attachments
- Processing would be slower than Dropbox/Local company file
- Features available in the Tools section such as Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, Cheque Manager, Cheque Printing, Barcode printing, and data import from Excel/Tally/Busy software won't be available.
5. Only Accounts and item masters opening balance details shall be imported on the Bk Web file. Old transactions cannot be imported.

If you agree will the above details then you need to email us at [e-mail] for the charges related and will inform you of the charges. After that, you need to create a new company by selecting a location of BKWEB. Then you need to make the payment as guided by mail.

As soon as you have made the payment, please send us your company file by mail to [e-mail] so that we can transfer your information.

NOTE: The BKWeb option is available on Windows and on Android only.
