How to Set Up Book Keeper Web?
- Update Book Keeper to the Latest version 7.0.2.

- Click on Book Keeper Web on the top just below the Company Name > Upload Company file on Book Keeper Web
(Only available on Admin device and if you have purchased some subscription plan)
- As in when you see the status as Connected,
visit https://bookkeeperapp.net in browser on any device and login with your Subscription email id and password
- Email id and password > Go to My Company > Select the Company File > It will as for Company password as shown below:
- Enter the admin password and Click on Login. Your Company will appear.
Frequently Asked Questions!
Q: How can one restore database file from Book Keeper web if local file gets deleted?
Ans: right now, no such option, but it will be added soon. User will be able to download their own file. Already planned this and it will come soon.
Q: Most of the reports that are needed by accountants like GST reports, Balance Sheet, P&L these are not available on web then how is it useful for accountants?
Ans: In video, I have already covered this. Right now, only 10-12 reports are available. rest will be added one by one.
Q: No filters available in any of the report
Ans: Most of the filters are already enabled. Example: If you see, Inventory summary report, it shows 12 columns and Sales register shows 17 columns. If you want to do some changes like, hide some column, on top, there is download excel file, and there you can apply filters.
Q: Company name is not visible on list of company screen
Ans: When user will click on any company name, where it asks for password, there company name will be shown (soon)
Q: There is no use of Dropbox now?
Ans: If you uses on Book Keeper Windows and rest you just want to view on other devices, no need of Dropbox in that case
Else, you need Dropbox to sync and to work on other devices
Q: It is not solving my purpose?
Ans: Even when you are not on your system, you can view customers, suppliers with their balances, items, vouchers and reports on any device without any additional subscription. No admin/user thing, no additional subscription, no need to download Book Keeper on another device, no need to remember dropbox password, just login and view. Isn't that simple?
Q: Can we edit our vouchers too online?
Ans: No, it is not planned.
Q: Can you see my data?
Ans: No, it is secured by 2 level authentication, your subscription password and company password. Also, you can delete data whenever you want. It is in your control.This is just the first version and all features will keep on adding.and Best part is, no need to update this.
All features will be up to date automatically on Web version.
